The daily practices are dedicated to challenging students and strengthening their foundation. We will practice heightening the mind/body connection, deepening the breath, and finding balance between strength and flexibility. We will sweat profusely and cultivate a spirit of lighthearted play and fun through creative Vinyasa flow sequencing, arm balances, and inversions we will have options of course for those who do not wish to. Most daily practices will begin or end with light pranayama and meditation.

The Yoga world is filled with alignment cues and alignment belief systems that sometimes contradict one another. How many times have you had a teacher tell you one thing, only to have another teacher tell you the opposite? Through our daily asana alignment study, we will focus on individual postures and highlight the common misalignments, study the effects of the pose on the body, talk about alignment cue trends, and give students the opportunity to practice teach the RPY alignment cues, teaching aids, and adjustments.

You will receive daily anatomy lessons teaching functional biomechanics in regard to the asanas. This knowledge will enhance your ability to teach giving you a thorough understanding of the human body. Learning anatomy in conjunction with alignment will help you keep your students safe.

Inversions and arm balances are a growing trend in yoga classes around the globe. We love them because they challenge us physically and mentally, but many teachers do not feel confident teaching these advanced poses unless they have mastered them in their personal practice. In this training, we will work daily on giving trainees the tools they need to understand the journey towards these advanced postures. These tools include interactive strength and flexibility exercises, partner inversion work, and independent wall and prop use. We will also help trainees cultivate their confidence in guiding future students into these postures with effective class sequencing, safe spotting, adjustments, and efficient verbal cues.

We believe that hands-on adjustments are a valuable instrument of communication for a teacher and a keyway for students to learn correct engagement in poses. Students will learn safe and effective adjustments and spotting tools that will help them approach hands-on adjusting in a knowledgeable and respectful way.

The RPY 250hr sequence is inspired by Vinyasa Flow and is constructed to be an accessible but challenging flow that is easily tailored to class lengths and levels. Upon graduating, yogis will have a template that they can use to teach with.
During our sequencing lectures, we will breakdown the construction of the RPY class template and give yogis sequencing tips that will help them get more creative as they gain more experience.

Sailesh has travelled the world and lived in the caves of the Himalayas for many months every year with the yogi gurus of the world focusing on his meditation and learning from the worlds most experienced yogic masters

Yoga as a business and industry has grown exponentially over the past 10 years. What was once an industry with limited outreach now has business opportunities for entrepreneurs, teachers, clothing & accessory designers, management consultants, online personalities, healers, therapists, world traveller’s and more.
